SpeakApp is a mobile application available on iOS and Android platforms. All interactions, transactions, and personal data are governed by this policy, regardless of the device or location.
SpeakApp connects clients with certified therapists, allows session booking and management, offers secure communication (chat and calls), and provides community-based mental health support.
Clients can browse therapist profiles, check availability, and book sessions. Confirmation notifications and reminders are sent securely via in-app messages, email, or SMS where applicable.
All payments are securely processed via trusted third-party gateways. SpeakApp does not store card details. Therapists receive earnings in their wallet, which can be withdrawn to their bank account. We comply with GDPR Article 6, HIPAA privacy rules, and NDPR Article 2.1(a) when handling financial data.
We collect only necessary data and handle it with the highest level of confidentiality. Your health-related data is protected under HIPAA (USA), GDPR (EU), and NDPR (Nigeria). Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We do not sell or misuse your information. We may anonymize data for internal analytics or service improvement. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.
All logos, trademarks, UI/UX, software code, and content within SpeakApp are the property of SpeakApp or its licensors. You may not replicate, reuse, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
SpeakApp may integrate with or link to third-party services such as payment gateways, video call APIs, or therapist websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these platforms. Users are advised to review their individual privacy policies.
We grant you a non-transferable, limited license to use SpeakApp for personal or professional purposes. You may not misuse the app, hack or reverse-engineer it, or use it for fraudulent activities.
We collect your name, email, phone number, gender (optional), age group, therapy goals, and payment information. Health-related chat or call data is stored securely and only accessible to authorized parties. Consent is obtained before collecting or sharing any data, as required under GDPR, HIPAA, and NDPR.
Users must behave respectfully on the platform. Hate speech, harassment, or inappropriate behavior towards therapists, clients, or community members will result in account suspension or legal action.
SpeakApp is not intended for users under 13 years of age. Misrepresentation, impersonation, or fraudulent use will result in permanent suspension and may be reported to law enforcement.
We strive to protect your data using up-to-date security practices, but no platform is entirely immune from risks. By using SpeakApp, you acknowledge that some level of risk is inherent in internet-based services. In the event of a data breach, we will notify users in accordance with GDPR Article 33, HIPAA Breach Notification Rule, and NDPR guidelines.
